roasted squash and onions

1 delicata squash
2 onions
oil
chili powder
salt

chop the veggies, mix in the other ingredients, bake at 400F in a casserole dish till done (45 min to an hour I think?) stirring at least once partway through

amazingly delicious result

also good with a can of chickpeas mixed in, which turns it into a full meal, but honestly the chickpeas just dilute the awesomeness so if you can have a separate protein source that's the better option
