Creating a Cohort

Our Goals

Explore, learn and try
New coaching techniques to engage teams and build trust quickly
Techniques to deliver difficult coaching messages in a powerful, impactful, positive way.
Explore and expand knowledge around SAFe and learn how to help teams / organizations scale agility
Create a safe place to bring coaching challenges to for
feedback, ideas, support
and if necessary – therapy! ;-)

Our Container
We will brutally but lovingly honest
Politically correct is for politics.... and we hate politics (this cohort is for growth - and if we can't be honest about EVERYTHING here - how can we grow)
We experiment here - we want to know what works and what doesn't . We aren't afraid of failing because we learn. We want to find ways of opening minds.
We share what we try - we share what we learn - we celebrate our failures and successes together!
This is a safe place to come with questions, frustrations, puzzles and challenges. We don't judge because we all believe that we all win and lose together.
WE HAVE FUN AND WE LAUGH.... because sometimes if we don't laugh... we might cry!

Our Backlog
This is the list of things that are on our minds! (It changes ALL THE TIME!!!)
Backlog Item
Votes (last voted 10/1/18)
How do we give feedback to people (and maybe their managers) who JUST DON'T GET IT???
What in the world are we going to do with leadership??? (Leadership alignment / agile mindset)
Balancing Standing Up new teams, and coaching teams? (how can we lean on each other?)
How can we / what would it look like to implement parts of SAFe?
Value Streams vs. SAFe - What's up?
What are some other good scaling frameworks and tools?
How do we reconcile SAFe and an Agile Mindset?
How do we carve out time to work with Managers and Leaders that impact our team? Are we even set up properly to have a meaningful impact on them?
WHAT IS OUR TRANSFORMATION ROADMAP????
Product Roadmaps? What techniques do we use to help Product Owners have a vision, and then articulate it?

We take L.A.P.S.
Learn (research, study, explore), Assimilate (discuss, dissect, pick apart, reflect), Practice (try, do, reflect, improve), Share (report back, lessons learned, what's next to learn?)
