COACHING ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT

COACHING ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT

Coaching Engagement Channels: (I’m your servant leader!)
Regular Coaching hours during the week. – Mondays: 2-4pm PST ; Tuesdays 4-5pm PST; Wednesdays 9:30 – 12pm PST.
My Location: Chandler, AZ; Pacific/AZ MT (I can flex as needed for time zones, but preferably not too early.)
Directly reach out to the Agile coach via communication mediums available (IM, Email, Phone, Text).
Scheduling time on my calendar, where free, and within regular working hours. If hard to find available time, please coordinate with the coach directly to address constraints.
If you have a specific event or meeting for the Agile Coach to attend, please make requests in advance to allow for prioritization of requests and to manage schedule constraints. (I want to be there!)

Services or Engagement Types: (Not limited to…)
All Scrum team members may reach out to the Agile Coach independently, if uncomfortable sharing with the team.
Coach will observe a variety of scrum events to experience the team’s dynamics and provide input on improvement opportunities.
Provide specific topic coaching sessions for the team upon request. E.g. User Story Creation, Story Pointing, Agile Events, etc.

Team Engagement (United Front!):
If we have a difference in opinion while in front of the team, agree to defer the conversation and revisit 1 on 1.
Your commitment to be available when the Agile coach needs to engage (reciprocity).
Shared understanding of when it's ok or not ok for the coach to inject guidance while in the presence of team members.
Always help each other (myself included) maintain an open mindset towards continuous improvement. Even when it appears that there is nothing to improve upon.
Commitment to always be willing to learn and to continuously improve!

“Accountability means to say what you do, do what you say!”
