A post on universal basic income

I want this to be the first essay I write - super interesting topic, UBI is something in the core of future in the startup world (automation!) as well as a fascinating economic concept.

It's also something to be looked at from a philosopher's perspective - if we don't do jobs, what do we do as humans? What is our purpose? How must we spend every single day of our lives?
