It all started with wanting to replace our very old roof fascia and soffit and replace the super old insulation in our attic. We hired Romano Construction, LLC again because they did a great job fixing our roof before. Sometimes when you start on one project, you start having ideas on others because you have a really good crew right there, and you think to yourself “why not?”. All I can say is our house project expanded to:
- Basement bathroom remodel (no complex plumbing or electrical work was required);
- protect and repaint the stucco over our chimney so it looks clean and new;
- Put in a new vent in the roof for our kitchen fan (who knew our house didn’t even have one, but they found it and pointed it out to us);
- Put in a new vent in the roof for our bathroom (apparently the contractor who did our upstairs bathroom took a shortcut);
When the insulation work was done, our garage was really dusty. However, rather than just vacuuming up all the dust, they went above and beyond and cleared everything out of our garage to vacuum and put things back in an orderly fashion. We took that opportunity to declutter and threw out a bunch of “junk”. I have never seen our garage so tidy and clean.
While they were working on our house, we had our electrical line redone by an electrical company that requires a new overhead mast to be placed on our roof. The electrician pointed out that we may want to have someone check the roof integrity afterwards. The Romano Construction crew was able to replace all the shingles that were impacted by this job.
Another unexpected surprise was the Romano Construction crew replenishing the bark dust in our backyard because they felt that they wore away a lot it while using our backyard as their central workplace. Wow, our yard looks better than before they ever started work on our house.
My experience with Romano Construction has been so positive and we have gotten so many things for our house done since September that I am grateful for their service. We just added another project with them to make our garage more functional.
