Increasing app engagement and downloads

-Identify relevant keywords that have a high traffic score. You can check traffic score from websites such as SensorTower

- For these keywords, do a quick search on play store notice the apps being ranked. In your head, you must know why your app is more relevant or better than these apps for that keyword search. If you cannot find a reason, probably the competition is high on play store.

- Optimize your app title, short description to have these relevant keywords. Long Description should also be focussed on, but that is not as important as the title and short description.

- Create beautiful icon, screenshots and feature graphics to improve your play store listing page. It is recommended to have minimal icon.

- Screenshots must have proper captions that showcase the value that your app offers. These are the first things that the users see before they decide to install the app. Keep monitoring the Play Store Listing Page Viewers to Installs percentage. If it is below 40%, you must work on improving your store listing i.e. Icon, Screenshots, Feature Graphic, etc.

- Continue to identify more keywords and try getting ranked for those

- Have a 'Rate Us' pop-up/section to enable happy users to rate your app on the play store

- Keep the app size low to reduce uninstall rate

- Keep the crashes & ANR percentage low
