Tech Lead for Azure + ASP.NET MVC + neo4j
FTE position in Sydney, Australia
We are looking for a Tech Lead to provide technical leadership to our small dedicated team involved in the development of an innovative, multi-tenant cloud service.
You should be comfortable with everything from CSS to LINQ. Daily tools include ASP.NET MVC 3, Razor, HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, Neo4j, NUnit, Selenium, Azure, PowerShell, Team City and Mercurial.
You also need to be comfortable working with a NoSQL database accessed via a JSON + REST API. Experience with graph DBs (ideally neo4j) would be excellent, however is by no means expected.
The small, dedicated team runs within a Scrum methodology, delivering every fortnight. Prior familiarity with agile methodologies would be highly preferable.
The team is wholly responsible for everything from development to production, so there's plenty of opportunity to lead good innovation.
Should have: * Prior experience with agile methodology and leading development team using agile methodology in delivery of medium sized project * Experience with MS Azure * Good problem solving abilities and thinking outside the box * Excellent communication skills * Initiative with the ability to provide technical leadership and clear direction to the team * Owning and continuously improving company technical standards, process and methodology
