After Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah, Godzilla proceeded with a new rampage across Tokyo. In order to quell this new and improved threat, the protagonists confiscated the space ship the Futurians used and used it to go to the future, where the cold waters of Japan's harbor preserved the still living King Ghidorah, and turned it into a cyborg, replacing the lost body parts with robotic parts (a metal chassis, robotic head, robotic hands, mechanical tail tips, and silicon wings) and took it back to the past, where it managed to chase Godzilla away, but drowned in the process. The JSDF retrieved the cyborg and created the mechanical monster Mechagodzilla 2 and Moguera was made from the remains of Super-Mechagodzilla.
