key lime pound cake

2 light cups flour 2 tsp corn starch 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup butter 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 3/4 cups milk 1 tsp key lime zest (~3 limes) 2 tbsp key lime juice (~3 limes) 1 tsp vanilla

  • Sift flour, baking powder, corn starch, and salt together.
  • Cream butter and sugar together
  • Mix eggs, lime zest, lime juice, and vanilla with butter and sugar
  • Add flour mixture and milk alternately and mix.

3 graham crackers butter

  • Put the graham crackers in a plastic bag and crush them as finely as possible with a rolling pin
  • Melt some butter and butter a bundt pan or two loaf pans
  • Dump the graham cracker crumps in the pan(s) and shake untill they coat the sides.
  • Pour in batter

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

  • After taking the cake out of the oven, gently pry it out of the pan onto a cooling rack.
  • While it's warm, spread lime glaze over the top:

1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 2 tbsp key lime juice (~3 limes)

  • Mix together!
